We are committed to providing all natural grass fed, grass finished beef. Our cattle are bred, born, raised and finished right here on our ranch in Elbert County, CO.
We believe in regenerating our grasslands. Our cattle are moved onto fresh pasture every day. This allows the land time to rest, recover and regrow. Our animals enjoy dozens of unique grass, legume and forb species, creating some of the most unique, flavorful beef you will ever taste. Watch our video about our practices to learn more.
On our ranch we are proud to raise Irish Dexter Breed Cattle. They are a small, docile, grass genetic animal. They have excellent marbling and thrive when allowed to forage freely on pasture. The health benefits of grass only beef are more than worthy of the time, effort and patience it takes to bring it to your table. Our beef is dry aged at least 14 days. It is then carefully processed, packaged and frozen. Your family deserves the healthiest beef you can provide. We are pleased to raise it for you.

We do not have a certified organic status but our cattle are never given hormone treatments or antibiotics. They are not fed grain or treated with pesticides or chemicals. The only supplement they are given is a natural mineral to support the nutrients they receive from our pastures.
Your meat will be carefully packaged and frozen immediately after processing to guarantee freshness. It is available for delivery to your home or pick up.
Grass finishing cattle is a slower process. It takes about 30 months to properly feed out a grass finished steer. Our herd is growing by the year though so be sure to get on our mailing list. Product is always offered to our returning clients first, then to our mailing list followers and then made available on our website for new customers. We look forward to serving you.
It's true that pasture raised and finished Dexter beef is unlike anything you have tasted before. When beef is finished on grass the nutrient content is much greater. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, Iron, Vitamin A, CLA, Zinc, Potassium are all present in much greater quantities. This leads to a much more complex and satisfying beef flavor. Grain fed beef is lower in these nutrients and higher in saturated fats. Our meat is well marbled and flavorful.
